All puppies are $600 and come with a 7-year written guarantee against genetic defects that affect the dogs quality of life.
To produce a litter, we first select the best possible pairs from our available breeding stock (occassionally we will breed outside of our line to bring in a desired trait). About two weeks before the litter is due to be born, we bring Mom into the house to settle in. We are always in attendance at the birth of the litter to insure that all is well with Mom and pups. Mom and the litter stay in my office so that they can be closely monitored for the first 2-3 weeks. Then it is time for all to be moved to a special, quiet room in our kennel when the pups can get used to the kennel noises without trama. Pups are started on solid food around 4 weeks of age. At 5-6 weeks of age, Mom and pups are moved to the regular kennel runs where they have access to a protected area outside the kennel. This allows pups to leave the "nest" to go potty and helps with housebreaking latter. At 8 weeks of age, pups are allowed to go to their new homes.

Pups are wormed at regular intervallls and given 6-way combination shots at 5 and 7 weeks of age. Because our pups have great immune systems, we do not have to break up their shots and only the best shots are used - ones that will override the mother's titer. During their stay with us, they are handled daily by one of several people trained to insure that no bad habits are allowed to develop through improper handling. We do not allow pups to chew on our hands or clothing. They learn to lie quietly in our laps. They spend time outside, weather permitting, to help socialize them to grass and new experiences. At 7 weeks, the litter is microchipped and tatooed for identification and evaluated for temperment and physical qualities.
